I’m a guitarist, songwriter, educator, and musical minister from Athens, Georgia who has been fortunate to make music around the southeastern United States and beyond for the better part of the last twenty years.

My primary musical vehicle is Jack & Jealous, but I also release music for houses of worship through Thursday Night Normal, and have been fortunate to play on tracks from a diverse collection of artists ranging from neo-motown, to country, to emo.

I’ve been teaching guitar for over a decade, and pride myself in my ability to help player’s take active ownership of their musicianship and creativity. While teaching weekly lessons, I’ve also released “You Already Know How to Play Lead Guitar,” a video-based course for those who want to play lead, but haven’t quite taken the leap yet.
